Following a demise of legendary filmmaker Yash Chopra on Sunday evening, a pall of gloom descended upon the whole film industry.

The legendary director, who had just switched 80 on September 27, and was eagerly waiting for the discharge of his last directorial Jab Tak Hai Jaan, died, and literally speaking, together with his boots on something he'd always wanted throughout his lifetime.

Around 9pm on Sunday, the late movie mogul was ferried within an ambulance from Lilavati Hospital to Studio 3 of Yash Raj Galleries. Incidentally, it was the same location where he'd introduced his retirement recently while returning to his film journey with Shah Rukh Khan.

Immediate family and buddies from the late Yash Chopra, which incorporated Karan Johar, Rani Mukerji, Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan remained by his side through the evening of Sunday. Actually, Shah Rukh, who had previously been among the first ones to achieve Lilavati Hospital after hearing news of his dying, didn't leave the late Chopra's side till around 5'o'clock on Monday morning. Amitabh Bachchan too was there for that longest time.

Between 9am and 12pm yesterday, the filmmaker's buddies and almost the entire film fraternity came by in the studio to pay for their last respects.

Among individuals who came were Rekha, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Vidya Balan, Mukesh Bhatt, Pankaj Kapoor together with his wife and boy Shahid, Sohail Khan and wife, Sunil Shetty, Arjun Rampal and wife, Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Imran Khan with wife Avantika, Tabu, David Dhawan together with his boy Varun, Kajol, Prakash Jha and Subhash Ghai.

After that, around 2.10pm, your body was transported in the studio towards the Pawan Hendes crematorium in Juhu, with Uday Chopra sitting near the driver. Shah Rukh, Karan Johar and Aditya Chopra were within the same ambulance together with Uday while Rani's vehicle adopted carefully in it.

Another bus seemed to be hired to accept entire YRF staff yet others in the studio towards the cremation ground. There is tight security to make sure no untoward incident happened. The ambulance arrived at Pawan Hendes using the traffic police and security keeping a strict vigil.

Outdoors the studio and also the cremation ground, an enormous crowd had collected for any final peek at among the industry's most celebrated company directors. One that trained the public how you can love and described romance unlike any other in the industry.
